    Last updated: April 22, 2026

Credit.CC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, website, and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services").

    1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties:

    • Identity & Contact Data: Name, email, phone number, mailing address.
    • Financial & Credit Data: Credit reports, scores, account history, and related data from credit bureaus and partners.
    • Verification Data: Date of birth, last four digits of SSN, and identity verification responses.
    • Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interaction events.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    • Provide credit monitoring, fraud protection, and identity services.
    • Authenticate you and verify your identity (KBA).
    • Send alerts about credit changes, dark web exposures, and account activity.
    • Communicate service updates and respond to support requests.
    • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse.
    • Comply with legal obligations including FCRA and SOC 2 requirements.

    3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

    • Credit bureaus and data partners (TransUnion, Experian, Equifax) to deliver credit and identity services.
    • Service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, email, SMS, analytics) under strict contractual confidentiality.
    • Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
    • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

    4. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and SOC 2-aligned operational practices. We never store full Social Security Numbers — only the encrypted last four digits required for verification.

    5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

    • Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
    • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
    • Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
    • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

    6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve our Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

    7. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Credit.CC sends SMS and MMS messages to mobile numbers you provide, including credit alerts, fraud and dark web notifications, identity verification codes (2FA/OTP), severe weather alerts (opt-in), account and billing notices, and customer support replies. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive these messages from Credit.CC at the number provided, including messages sent via automatic telephone dialing systems.

    • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to opt in to SMS to use Credit.CC.
    • Message frequency varies based on account activity, alerts triggered, and programs you opt into.
    • Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier.
    • Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact [email protected] or call 305-200-1200.
    • Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
    • No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
    • SMS delivery is handled by our telecommunications provider (Twilio) solely to transmit messages on our behalf under contractual confidentiality.

For full SMS terms see our Terms of Service.

    8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
